Immigration SA announces they are re-opening selected State Nomination visas
Immigration SA has announced that it will re-open applications for the selected State Nomination visas being the Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) Visa (subclass 188) and the Business Talent (Permanent) Visa (subclass 132), with the new changes coming into effect from 7 June 2018.
Immigration SA has confirmed that, from 7 June 2018, only applicants who have previously visited South Australia will be eligible to apply for a State Nomination visa. Evidence of previous visit(s) will be required for applications submitted from 3 pm on 7 June 2018. There will be a limit to the number of applications available.
Changes from 1 July 2018
You can also expect more changes from 1 July 2018 with Immigration SA confirming that, State Nominated 132 visa for significant business history applicants who will have to meet higher requirements under the ‘benefit to state’ criteria for exports. This change has been made so as to encourage more new businesses to experience and explore South Australia’s export opportunities.
